You may be eligible for this study if you can respond “yes” to all of the following:
- I reside near a FAVORIT clinical center. Click here for a map of sites around the country.
- I am between the ages of 35-75 years old.
- I have had a kidney transplant or a kidney/pancreas transplant at least 6 months ago.
- I have not had any other organ transplant.
- I have not had a recent heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular surgery.
- I am willing to have blood work and complete questionnaires.
- I am willing to take study vitamins AND I am willing to stop taking any vitamins which contain B6, B12, or folic acid.
- I am not currently participating in another cardiovascular disease (CVD) study.
- Female participants may not be pregnant, lactating and must be on an acceptable form of birth control.
